Our story
Moving Mountains Soap Co. was founded by an herbalist and an arborist with a shared love for the natural world. Many of the organic herbs used in our formulations are grown in our own gardens and carefully infused into our small-batch products, bringing the nourishing power of botanicals to your skin.
Everything we make is made by hand in Modesto, California, in small batches.
Rooted in tradition
Our formulations draw inspiration from traditional skincare practices that valued simple, nutrient-dense ingredients. Each product is thoughtfully crafted in small batches to bring time-honored nourishment back to modern skincare.
Time-honored ingredients
Long before modern skincare, tallow was prized for its ability to nourish and protect the skin. Naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, it closely mirrors the skin’s own oils for deep absorption and lasting hydration.
