Our products
What are your soaps made of?
We make two kinds of bar. Our grass-fed tallow bars are made with tallow and buttermilk. Our plant-based bars are made with botanical oils and coconut milk. The full ingredient list is printed on every product page — no guessing, no "proprietary blend".
Where are they made?
Every batch is made by hand in Modesto, California, in small batches, by an herbalist and an arborist.
How much is a bar?
Artisan soap bars are $10 each. The Handpicked Soap Box, which contains three bars, is $27.
Are your products tested on animals or intended as medicine?
Our products are intended for cosmetic use only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Orders & shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more. Below that, it starts at $6.90 and is calculated at checkout.
How soon will my order ship?
Orders are prepared and packaged within 2–5 business days. You will get tracking by email once it ships. We ship via USPS.
Is there a discount on my first order?
Yes. Join our email list and we will send you a welcome code for 10% off your first order, along with news of new batches. One use per customer. You can sign up at the bottom of any page.
Returns
Can I return a soap?
Unopened, unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, in their original condition. Because these are personal care products, opened or used items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging, and we will make it right.
Who pays return shipping?
Customers cover return shipping unless the return is due to our error. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
